INTRODUCING GRESFORD ATHLETIC

Gresford Athletic are a Committee-led, semi-professional football club, which plays in the JD Cymru North, which is the second tier of Welsh domestic football.

The history of the present-day Gresford Athletic stretches back to 1946, although it is known that the club existed in the 1920s.

Throughout its 77+ year history, the club has won six First Team league titles, 10 cups and two Reserves league titles, with ambitions to continue progressing as far as it can go and become a huge part of Welsh domestic football.

Since the 2022/23 season, the club's First Team have been based at one of the best facilities in Welsh domestic football, groundsharing with Wrexham AFC Women at The Rock in Rhosymedre, and the club are looking forward to moving into an exciting era.

The funds that Gresford Athletic generates from sponsorships is crucial to the running of the football club, allowing it to continue to develop, grow and create some special moments, both on and off the pitch.
