Birdy joined the club at the start of the 2022/23 season and his partnership with Reserves Manager Gareth Rowland in rebuilding the team has been invaluable.

His knowledge, passion and determination will be sorely missed, as will his witty banter and his great relationship with the players.

We hope it will not be goodbye forever, but, for now, we would like to say a big thank you to Birdy for all of his contributions over the past two seasons.

In the meantime, goalkeeper Adam Taylor will step up to assist Rowly for the 2024/25 season, along with some other senior roles being assigned within the Reserves squad.
