Leon Bennett has left Gresford Athletic to sign for Connah's Quay Town.

The centre back initially joined the club on loan from Connah's Quay Nomads in the summer of 2023, before signing permanently during January 2024.

The 20-year-old has made 33 appearances in all competitions for The Colliers during his time at the club, earning one Man of the Match award and doing superbly well to come back from a long-term injury suffered towards the end of the 2023/24 season.

He now signs for Connah's Quay Town, who are currently sat in eighth place of the 2024/25 Lock Stock Ardal North West table.
