Joshua Griffiths has today agreed to stay at Gresford Athletic for the 2020/21 season.

This sees the club captain enter his seventh season at Gresford Athletic and is massive news for the club.

The 28-year-old signed for the club in the 2013/14 season and has continously been a presence on and off the pitch, which led to him being appointed club captain in 2018.

During the 2019/20 season, the midfielder made 35 appearances in all competitons, winning 15 games.

His agreement to commit himself to the club for the 2020/21 season is fanastic news and acts as a big statement towards the future plans of Gresford Athletic, even more so given the difficult situation of the COVID-19 pandemic.
