Gresford Athletic have today completed the signing of Charlie Mann from Prestatyn Town.

This is the club's first signing of the 2021/22 January transfer window.

Charlie firstly played for The Gun, which is an amateur Sunday pub team in London. He, along with his teammates, won the BT Sport Pub Cup in 2018.

Ahead of the 2018/19 season, the midfielder signed for West Cheshire League Division One club Chester Nomads, where he stayed for three seasons.

The 24-year-old moved into the JD Cymru Leagues when he signed for Prestatyn Town in the 2021/22 summer transfer window.

He has made 16 appearances in all competitions so far during the 2021/22 season, making two assists.

He signs for Gresford Athletic after leaving Prestatyn Town, who are sat in 12th place of the 2021/22 JD Cymru North table.

Due to receiving a red card during Prestatyn Town's 3-2 loss against Llanrhaeadr Ym Mochnant, Charlie will be unavailable for the first two games back at the end of January 2022 after the 2021/22 JD Cymru North suspension, but everyone at Gresford Athletic is looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.
